This year, AFI Silver's holiday cinema celebration goes virtual! Enjoy perennial Christmas favorites IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL, HOME ALONE, ELF and — yippee ki-yay, mistletoers! — DIE HARD, and also the ripe-for-rediscovery classics REMEMBER THE NIGHT, THE HOLLY AND THE IVY and the acclaimed 1951 version A CHRISTMAS CAROL (1951), starring Alastair Sim as Scrooge.

New Year's Eve gets the holiday treatment, too, with CAROL (2015), SUNSET BLVD., and Mario Monicelli's THE PASSIONATE THIEF starring Anna Magnani.

There's also some naughty mixed with the nice as we celebrate with some ho-ho-ho-horror holiday cult classics, including: BLACK CHRISTMAS (1974); DIAL CODE SANTA CLAUS; SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT; CHRISTMAS EVIL; SANTA CLAUS (1959) and JACK FROST (1997).

Celebrate the holidays and support AFI Silver! Make the season extra special with this deeply discounted series pass: see all 17 films in this year's Holiday Classics series for just $50!

We hope you'll keep AFI Silver in mind as you make your seasonal viewing plans! Click Film Guide to see the full lineup.
